Kalachakra Mandala – The Wheel of Time
Kalachakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “the wheel of time”. The Kalachakra (or Kalachakra) is a famous type of thangka painting, valued as a symbolic/visual illustration of the teachings of traditional Tibetan Buddhism. The Kalachakra Mandala focuses on the cycles of the planetary cycle and the breathing of human beings, representing the elements of origin, duration and destruction. The cosmos pulsates through the collective karma of beings, producing vital winds (vayu) that move the atomic particles of worlds and sentient beings. It represents working with the subtlest energies in the body on the path to enlightenment.
